I could go into long, in-depth detail as to why I have been absent for so long. I could try to write out my thoughts here, for you and myself in the hope that I would figure some of it out myself in the attempt. Why music escaped me for such a long time, why I couldn’t even pick up a guitar…but I won’t. I will simply summarize it with a word. Life. Life happened.
With that said, I am here with you now. I hope it feels as though we are life long friends and no matter how much time passes, when we come together, it’s as if we pick right up where we left off. I have just finished putting the finishing touches on the upcoming EP. The ‘Stuff & Things EP‘ is a 5 song, short but sweet album to tide me over until I finish my next full length CD, ‘Before I Was Him‘. During my down time I had some rare moments of experimentation or just glimpses when a ray of musical light shined through. From that is where Stuff & Things EP evolved. The new album is scheduled to be mastered at SING Mastering on April 3rd. Then it will be sent off to have some stylish eco-pack love applied to it and then sent off to CDBaby for distribution. The goal is to release it by April 30th. The reality is it may be after that depending on transport and how fast CDBaby adds the album to their website.
